Remy’s Designer Picks
Hi there! My name is Remy Hirai and I'm the Owner/Desiger of Lōliʻi Swimwear. Here are some of my favorite pieces:
FOR EVERY OCCASSION
Anahola is the name and versatility is the game. When I set out to create the perfect full piece I knew I wanted a minimalist silhouette that was functional and timeless. The Anahola is a simple full piece that can double as a body suit- throw on some jeans, dress it up with accessories and you're good to go!
A CLASSIC BEAUTY
The Kawaihoa top is a strapless style with a knotted front detail. It's meant to be worn slightly ruched in the front for that relaxed, effortless vibe. I wanted a top that was simple and beautiful and something that I'd wear if I were lounging under some palms all day with a good book, a flower behind my ear, and an an ice cold coconut. Ah, a girl can dream!
I love a good triangle top for its adjustability and clean lines, but as a curvier wahine, I also needed a little extra support. The Kaluahole top provides comfort and support with its double bust and neck straps. It's a great top for laying out as you can slide it to your desired coverage and untie the straps for a backless tan (just don't forget the sunscreen!). The Kaluahole's adjustability paired with its extra support also makes it a great top for breastfeeding mamas.
A STAPLE PIECE
While it's important to look cute, I also find it equally important to be comfy, and that's where the Wai'ale'ale comes in. This high waisted bottom is a staple swim piece that offers superior coverage and comfortability. The Wai'ale'ale is super flattering with its simple silhouette and has been my go to bottom since the beginning.
SURF + SUN
Since I started surfing more, I needed a surf suit that would give me a little more sun protection, so I decided to add a new style to the mix. Introducing the Kapuni suf suit. Like its sister surf suits, the Kapuni is perfect for all sorts of ocean activities and is super comfy and easy to get on and off. I love this piece so much and it's pretty much all I wear now when I'm out surfing.
