Measuring Your Bust

Hi there, it’s Remy, owner/designer of Lōliʻi and I’m going to walk you through the steps of how to get your bust measurements.

Getting your measurements is super simple, you’ll only need 2 things! A mirror and a tape measure. You can use any standard tape measure, if you don’t have one, you can order one online for very little or pick one up almost anywhere (Longs, Target, Walmart, or any fabric store near you). You can also download a FREE printable tape measure here and print it from your desktop computer.

When taking your measurements, make sure you are either in your underwear or in thin, form-fitting clothing. Also, when getting your bust measurements, make sure you are either not wearing a bra or wearing a thinly lined (no padding or push-up) bra.

So, first we’re going to get our regular bust measurement. Take your tape measure and wrap it around your chest and bring it to the front and center, at the fullest part of your bust. To make sure you’re getting an accurate measurement, stand in front of a mirror and make sure your tape measure is lying flat and snug on your body. You want to make sure your tape measure is parallel to the ground, not sagging, drooping, or unevenly aligned. Once you’ve got your measurements, write it down somewhere so you don’t forget it.

Next we’re going to get our underbust measurement, this is just under the fullest part of your bust, where the bottom of your bra or bikini would normally lie. So, just like before, take your tape measure and wrap it around your chest, and bring it to the front and center.

And now you’re all set! That’s how you get your bust measurements.
Xx.
