Measuring Your Torso

Hi there, it’s Remy, owner/designer of Lōliʻi and I'm going to walk you through the steps on how to get your torso measurement. 

Getting your measurements is super simple, you’ll only need 2 things! A mirror and a tape measure. You can use any standard tape measure, if you don’t have one, you can order one online for very little or pick one up almost anywhere (Longs, Target, Walmart, or any fabric store near you). You can also download a FREE printable tape measure here and print it from your desktop computer.

When taking your measurements, make sure you are either in your underwear or in thin, form-fitting clothing.

Take your tape measure and start at your sternum or underbust, and go all the way down over your belly button and down to your pubic bone, just to where you start to curve. To make sure you’re getting an accurate measurement, stand up straight in front of a mirror and make sure your tape measure is lying flat against your body. Don’t look down while you're trying to get the measurement, just use your hands to mark it on your tape measure. Once you’ve got your measurements, write it down somewhere so you don’t forget it.
